This piece is set in historic Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat. The focal point is Bhadra Fort in the background (L), surrounded by houses from a traditional Pol – family communes found in the older areas of the metropolis. Right in the center is a blue Chabutra, one of many bird houses that dot this vibrant city. In the background, the sky pays tribute to the winter Kite Festival held every year in January.
