Back after an extended break!

Dear Yali fans,

Yali has been in hibernation for a few months now and we do have good reason for being a bit quiet. It has been a busy end to 2014 with a long trip to India and some house-moving chaos around the holidays. We do have some big plans for the new year though – the sequel to Bye, Bye, Motabhai! is nearly ready! We are hoping for a spring launch, but we have a little peek into what to expect.

Announcing our newest book – *Drum roll please* – Jaipur Jamboree. Pavan and his happy-go-lucky friend, Bijilee the donkey, are on the road to the beautiful pink city of Jaipur. Waiting to meet them there are new friends – a no-nonsense parrot, two helpful monkeys and a clever boy. Together they hatch up zany schemes for Pavan to meet the visiting Emir of Dubai, creating a nerve-racking tamasha with hundreds of monkeys, a chatty and quite batty parrot, a mystery man, an elusive Emir of Dubai in a red car and a grand festival at Amber Fort!

Below is the cover design for the book and we hope to have a sneak preview very soon!

Also in the works for 2015 is an activity book that will take readers on a tour of India through a series of visual puzzles and a picture book for ages 3-5. We are excited, we hope you are too!
